Extensions
Extensions add supported capabilities to a managed BoxNCase workspace without changing or operating the platform itself. They commonly connect payments, tax, email, search, analytics, fulfillment, and other business systems.
Explore extensions
Open Extensions → Explore in the BoxNCase Dashboard to see the catalog available to your workspace. Each extension identifies its provider, purpose, required permissions, configuration steps, and support path.
Install an extension
- Select the extension and review its data access and permissions.
- Choose Install and approve the requested access.
- Complete the provider-specific configuration.
- Test the integration in a test workspace.
- Enable it for production only after the expected workflow passes.
Installed extensions appear under Extensions → Installed. Open an extension to update configuration, review its status, deactivate it, or remove it.
Custom integrations
Organizations can build an app for requirements that are not covered by the extension catalog. Apps use the documented GraphQL API, webhooks, and Dashboard extension points while BoxNCase continues to operate the platform.
Start with Building Apps, then follow Installing and managing apps.
Legacy integrations
Some established workspaces may still show legacy provider integrations. Configure those through the Dashboard and contact support before replacing or removing one that participates in payments, tax, shipping, or notifications. New integrations should use apps and webhooks.
