Marketplace Opt-in and Sync
Draft
This page is a stub. It captures the intended structure of the BoxNCase Platform documentation; the details are being written as the platform ships. Questions: [email protected].
Opt-in
- Marketplace listing is off by default for external vendors.
- Vendors opt in per product (or per collection) from their dashboard; BoxNCase reviews and publishes listings.
- Internal vendor feeds go through a pipeline with human-only approval gates before anything reaches the live catalog.
Sync direction
| Data | Direction | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Products, variants, media | Vendor stack -> marketplace | Listing subset only; SKU is the join key. Duplicate SKUs are rejected. |
| Stock | Vendor stack -> marketplace | Warehouse-level quantities. |
| Orders | Marketplace -> vendor stack | Created in the vendor stack for fulfilment; see Order privacy. |
| Fulfilment and tracking | Vendor stack -> marketplace | Mirrored back to the marketplace order. |
